Yoga Foundations

Are you new to Yoga and not sure where to begin?

Perhaps you’re returning after a break and looking to expand your knowledge and refine your practice?

Our monthly beginners class is perfect for students who are new to Yoga, and for those returning after a break to reconnect with their practice within a safe and supportive environment.

During these often workshop style classes you’ll be guided through the foundations of Yoga Asana; deconstructing the postures, paying attention to physical alignment that works for your body and the energetics of the pose. We’ll explore the breath and how it relates to our practice along with basic Pranayama (breathing) techniques.

Movement will be slow and mindful, full of intention and purpose to gain the knowledge and understanding of your own personal practice. Learn how to use props in a way that can support and enhance your postures while receiving helpful hands on assists from an experienced teacher.

This session is a space to explore, be curious and perhaps step out of your comfort zone to build confidence within your practice; a perfect gateway to our Vinyasa Krama and Vinyasa Flow classes.
