Practice Mindfulness in the Festive Season

For most of us the festive season can be overwhelming in different ways, more rush, more doing, more food, more spending, more socialising, more family, more disappointment, more realisations, more confusion, more more more.

Follow our 3 simple tips to stay mindful + connected to yourself in admit it all.

1. Centred Breathing

Take long deep inhalations + focus on sending the breath to different parts of your body .

2. In the Moment Meditation

Scan through your senses one by one.

Notice what you can hear, see, taste, smell, feel.

Give your attention to each sense, just noticing what is occurring.

3. Practice Mindful Listening

As your loved ones speak, listen without judgment, criticism or interruption, while being aware of internal thoughts and reactions for you to explore more for yourself later.
