A body scan is a simple act of returning home to yourself throughout your day.
It’s the practice of pausing, tuning inwards, letting your body speak + listening.
To step out of the mind and back into the living intelligence of the body.
To soften the noise.
To hear the quiet truths that only the nervous system can whisper.
When you pause to listen, you stop abandoning yourself.
You build trust.
You create safety inside your own skin.

This is where self-love becomes embodied, not just spoken.

Pause + Breathe
Wherever you are, soften your shoulders and take one slow breath in through the nose… and out through the mouth.
Let your nervous system settle.

Start At The Crown
Bring awareness to the top of your head. Notice sensations ~ warmth, tightness, softness, or stillness.
There is no “right” feeling. Just notice.

Slowly Move Your Awareness Down
Gently guide your awareness down through:
Face + jaw
Neck + shoulders
Chest + heart
Belly
Hips
Legs
Feet
~ At each area ask softly: What do you need right now?

Listen Without Fixing
Your body might ask for:
Rest
Water
Movement
Stillness
Slower breath
Boundaries
Softness
Silence
You don’t need to solve everything instantly.
Simply acknowledging the message is powerful.

Respond With One Small Act
Choose one loving action ~
stretch your neck, drink water, take 3 deep breaths, step outside, or unclench your jaw.
This is how self-trust is built.
This is how intuition grows.
This is how we learn to live in relationship with our body.
